A Bright and Colourful Week at Parul University

I had the privilege of participating in International Week at Parul University in Vadodara, India, from February 2–6, 2026, a vibrant and enriching experience that combined academic exchange, teaching, cultural immersion, and global collaboration. Throughout the week, educators from around the world came together to share ideas and perspectives on innovation in teaching and learning.

Teaching & Learning Across Borders

The highlight of my visit was the opportunity to teach Parul University students through sessions focused on systems thinking, new product development, and podcasting. Together, we explored how complex challenges can be understood through interconnected systems, how ideas evolve through structured processes, and how emerging digital platforms can be used to communicate ideas, build communities, and create value. The discussions were thoughtful, energetic, and deeply engaging, reflecting students’ curiosity and global perspective. Connecting directly with students and hearing their insights was truly the most rewarding part of the week and a powerful reminder of the shared language of education across cultures.

Culture, Community, and Global Engagement

Beyond the academic program, the experience was defined by the warmth and generosity of our hosts, supported by dedicated student coordinators whose thoughtful and personalized care made every visiting delegate feel truly welcomed.

Cultural activities and local sightseeing offered insight into the richness and diversity of India, strengthening connections formed inside classrooms and meeting spaces and transforming professional exchanges into genuine friendships.

International Week was a powerful reminder of how global education builds understanding, collaboration, and lasting connections across borders.
