You have been hired as SEO Consultants by Peter Marshall Consulting. Peter has recently developed his website using WordPress.com using the Morden theme. He also started blogging and plans on blogging regularly once a week, he needs to organically optimize his blog posts for search engines.

Your Task:

Choose one of Peter’s blog posts, and work on optimizing it. You need to suggest at least 5 distinct organic SEO strategies, and implement them on a Word document as follows:

  • Title page:
    • Include the names of students who worked on the assignment, do not include student numbers as this document will be shared with the client
    • Include a link to your chosen blog post from Peter Marshall’s website
  • Section 1:
    • SEO Strategies: list and briefly describe five distinct organic SEO strategies to optimize the blog post (max 2 pages)
  • Section 2:
    • Implementation of the SEO strategies: include screen shots of how you would implement your suggestions on your chosen blog post. Think of this part as a “user manual” for your client to refer to when writing and optimizing future blog posts. The following is an example of image optimization (for clarity, please include one strategy per page, and clearly label each strategy/page)
