The Placement Centre, in collaboration with the Management Studies Student Association is hosting an event entitled: Empowering Women: Success in the Workplace. There will be an expert presentation to start the event, followed by a discussion from a panel of successful business women who will cover topics including: Keys to success, overcoming challenges, work-life balance, technological changes, among other topics.
Everyone is welcome to attend!

Our VEB 2017/2018 team is currently working with eight small businesses from various industries in Ontario through the VEB (Voucher for E-Business) partnership program. Project work started in September 2017 and is scheduled to be completed by end of March 2018

A huge THANK YOU to Irina Gorea & Kiran Bajwa for preparing and facilitating the workshop, and to Farihah Chowdhury & Christine Howald for assisting them.
Irina, Kiran, Farihah and Christine are third year Digital Business Management students, executive members of the Digital Business Student Association, and winners of the 2016 Leadership Award. Martin graduated from the Digital Business Management Program in 2016, and currently holds the position of Digital Marketing Specialist at The Successful Investor Inc., Martin is also a passionate musician and the founder of Stranded Fest.

The Business School celebrated the 2015/2016 Student Awards and Scholarships on Wednesday Nov 30, 2016. Awards and scholarship recipients were invited to celebrate with their families and Humber faculty and administrators the Awards Night at the Lakeshore Campus.

The Business School will be sponsoring two students to attend half-day Camp Tech workshops during the summer.

Students who attend a workshop are required to share their experience with their colleagues through a short blog post with pictures, and contribute to a student-led seminar in Sept 2016.
