Entrepreneurship 100: Conversations

Please see below from: Impact Centre, University of Toronto

University of Toronto would like to invite you to a new, free program this spring:

The Impact Centre at U of T is continuing its (E100) series for 3 Thursdays this spring, and we’re wondering whether you would be interested in joining us. It’s free and we’ll have food!

We are looking for students who have an idea or some interest in starting a business but little experience or knowledge about how to become an entrepreneur or how entrepreneurial skills can help their career.  Does this sound like you?

E100 is a public program for students who are curious about entrepreneurship. It’s unique because you’ll get to meet and interact with real, local, and young entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and businesses. Last semester 450 students attended from six universities and colleges in Toronto!

Based on feedback from the audience, we are launching three new conversation topics: social entrepreneurship, freelancing, and financing a company. Conversations will cover questions like, “how do I make money and make the world a better place?”, “how do I successfully freelance my skill?”, and “how do people finance their startup?”.

Dates: Three live-only Thursdays: March 16, March 23, March 30. (You can attend 1, 2, or all 3 sessions)

Time: 6-7 pm moderated panel + audience participation, 7-8 pm unstructured conversations and networking (refreshments served!)

Place:  Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy room #B150, University of Toronto, 144 College St. Toronto, M5S 3M2

Cost: Free, but please register http://www.impactcentre.ca/e100/

Hope to see you there!
