I had the pleasure of delivering a keynote speech and participating as a co-coach in WE ARE – International Week at Fontys Academy for Creative Industries in Tilburg, Holland during the first week of Dec 2018. Designed as a Theme Week for 450 second year students from four bachelor degree programs at Fontys ACI, students were inspired by keynote speeches on global citizenship and the skills needed in today’s connected world.
Using the Design Thinking process, the students worked throughout the week in multidisciplinary teams on developing concepts to solve various challenges faced by the international community in Tilburg. The full program booklet can be downloaded here.
It was a week of learning and coaching, lots of insightful discussions, frustrations, and “aha” moments encouraging diversity and creativity!
