I had the pleasure of celebrating International Women’s Day this year with our fourth year Digital Business Management students Lubnaa Aamirah & Tabassum Hawlader as we attended an industry event on Wednesday March 8, 2023.

Organized by Snowflake in collaboration with AWS and Toronto Womxn in Data Science, “Mastering Professional & Personal Growth” was an opportunity to gather as peers in the Toronto tech industry for networking, open dialogue, and thought leadership. The event started with a panel discussion that showcased the perspectives and experiences of local leaders in tech as they discussed best practices and challenges to prioritizing diversity in the workplace, followed by light lunch and networking. Our students had the chance to ask their questions and get insights from industry experts during the Q&A session.
