Teaching & Learning

My teaching is built on connection, between disciplines, between the classroom and industry, and between students who think differently. I actively partner with colleagues across faculties to design cross-program experiences, and with industry clients to bring live challenges into the classroom. The result is learning that mirrors real life: messy, collaborative, and meaningful.

In practice, this looks different every semester, but always includes some or most of:

Students work directly with real industry clients on live briefs, developing solutions, presenting findings, and experiencing the full cycle of a professional project from brief to delivery.

I partner with colleagues across faculties to design shared learning experiences that mirror how real teams work — across disciplines, perspectives, and areas of expertise.

I bring students out of the classroom and into the real world through visits to companies, including Google, Microsoft, Pinterest, Spotify, NTN, and more, giving them direct access to industry professionals and workplaces.

Industry professionals join my classes regularly to share real-world insights, challenge students’ thinking, and bridge the gap between academic concepts and professional practice.

I embed globally recognized certifications directly into my coursework, giving students a competitive edge and credentials they can carry into their careers from day one.
