Signature Projects

The projects below reflect the range of ways I bring collaborative, interdisciplinary learning to life; some are embedded directly into coursework, others grow beyond the classroom into community and industry partnerships, and some start as one and evolve into the other.

DigiPod Podcast Network

A student-led podcast project I launched in Fall 2024 as part of the Product Management course, in which students work in teams to conceptualize, prototype, and produce podcast episodes targeting student audiences, in partnership with other Humber programs, alumni, and industry.

The Fashion History Project

What started in Fall 2023 as a creative collaboration initiated by Francesca D’Angelo, in partnership with the Digital Business Management program, has been growing ever since, branching out in fresh, innovative directions with the support of Humber Libraries. This project has become a core part of the following courses:

  • 20th Century Fashion History
  • Web Development
  • Digital Systems & User Centric Design

The Digital Hub

A collaborative experiential learning platform that brings together students, alumni, industry partners, and peers from across programs to work on hands-on projects. Since its launch in 2015, the platform has continued to grow and evolve through ongoing collaboration with colleagues and industry partners.

EDC Kenya COIL

An international project I led in partnership with CAP-Youth Empowerment Institute (CAPYEI) in Kenya through Humber’s International Development Institute. A multidisciplinary team of Humber students from the Longo Faculty of Business, Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design, and the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Innovative Learning collaborated to support female refugees in Kenya in building their online presence and digital livelihoods.

Diverse Speaker Series

In Summer 2023, I joined the Toronto WordPress Group as a co-organizer and launched the Diverse Speaker Series, a community-driven initiative bringing diverse voices and perspectives to Digital Business Management students outside the classroom.
